♦ The motorcyclist Claude Richard Breedlove, 68, of Rockwell was pronounced dead at the scene when his 2004 Yamaha motorcycle tragically collided with a 2006 Buick at about 3:20 p.m. on East Innes Street in Salisbury. The Buick’s driver Katherine Lyerly, 85, of Salisbury, was driving on East Innes when she allegedly turned left onto Avalon Drive where her vehicle was struck by Breedlove’s motorcycle.
Lyerly allegedly was not hurt.
No charges were filed yet in an accident still under investigation.
