♦ James Patrick Myers, 43, of 189 Catfish Terrace in East Rowan was arrested Wednesday by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly possessing 33 grams of “meth” and trafficking it from his Nissan Altima. When Meyers was brought to the Rowan County Detention Center he was additionally charged for possessing meth on a penal institution premises.
Myers was charged with possession of a controlled substance schedule II (felony), driving with license revoked (misdemeanor), traffic in drugs (felony), possess control substance on a penal institution premises (felony), and maintain dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance (felony).
Under a $365,000 secured bond, Myers is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
