♦ Kassey Zapata, the Jesse C. Carson student who disappeared on January 11th, is safe and has returned home early Friday evening according to Kristen Godair Zapata.
According to the China Grove Police Department Eric Jose Santos, 18, Kassey Zapata’s companion was arrested Friday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor (misdemeanor) and possession of controlled substance schedule IV (misdemeanor). Under a secured $3,000 bond, he is currently being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
