♦ National Weather Service Issued a TORNADO WATCH Until 7 P.M. for Rowan County and Salisbury N.C. Flood Watch Also in Effect until 6 P.M. and Wind Advisory in Effect until Midnight.
The tornado watch covers large portions of North and South Carolina and includes Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, Salisbury, Concord, Kannapolis, and Wilmington as well as Florence and Columbia South Carolina.
