♦ Genaro Alberto Alvarado, Jr., 20, of Airport Road was arrested Wednesday allegedly for sex crimes with a 15 year-old child. The 33 year-old mother of the victim was charged with alleged child abuse described in a warrant as “unlawfully, willfully, and feloniously did allow a sex act, sexual intercourse, upon a victim who was 15 and thus under the age of 16.”
Alvarado was charged with statutory rape/sex offense with a 15 year-old by a defendant 6 years older (felony). Under a secured $20,000 bond, Alavado was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center and later released on bail.
The mother was charged with child abuse–commit sexual act upon a juvenile (felony). Under a secured $75,000 bond, the mother was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center and later released on Bail.
