♦ On Friday Marvin Eric Tart, 42, formerly living on Short Street in Salisbury and an ex-Boone police officer convicted of 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor (child pornography) in 2008, was arrested at 1510 Stokes Ferry Road in Salisbury by Rowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Recently added to the Sheriff’s Most Wanted List, Tart didn’t last long.
Tart was charged with sex offender failure to notify change of address (felony) and failure to appear/comply (misdemeanor). Under a secured $4,703 bond, Tart is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
