Police were summoned CiCi’s Pizza on 805 S. Jake Alexander Boulevard Sunday where a woman alerted them that her car was broken into and her purse was stolen. The windows were allegedly rolled down at the time. The Salisbury Police were alerted a short time later that a white Toyota was allegedly witnessed near the scenes of vehicle break-ins at K-Mart and the Hampton Inn. During the investigation an officer spotted a white Toyota and saw a teal green purse encrusted with rhinestones inside the car that was reported stolen. Banks, Bevan, and Proffitt were soon connected with other area vehicle breaking and entries and arrested.
