♦ Sherry Anne Donaldson,39, living at 670 Lakeview Road in Salisbury and a convicted car thief, was arrested and charged Friday morning for the alleged Thursday night arson at Bradshaw’s Auto Sales 5785 South Main Street near Webb Road in Salisbury. Bradshaw’s Auto Sales is across Main Street from the N.C. Highway Patrol Office.
Donaldson was charged by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office with breaking and entering-building (felony), larceny (misdemeanor), motor vehicle theft (felony), burning of certain buildings (felony), and burning of personal property (felony).
Under a secured $60,000 bond, Donaldson is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center. Her first hearing will be on May 16th.
The original call to Bradshaw’s went out at 10 p.m. Firefighters had the fire under control in under 30 minutes. Later fire investigators determined that she allegedly torched Honda next to the main building and allegedly set the building on fire.
Donaldson’s boyfriend Rickie Nail is a salesman at the car lot where she allegedly stole a BMW that her boyfriend drove around.
