Both East Rowan High School and its neighbor across the street Erwin Middle School became notorious for bullying activity over the last few years.
Many concerned parents contacted the RFP about this event. They believe the Rowan-Salisbury School System requires stronger anti-bullying programs and administrative oversight. A young man nearly lost his life that day because his brain was oxygen deprived.
