♦ Tuesday night a 911 dispatch went out around 11 p.m. about a home invasion having taken place at 325 Crown Point Drive in Salisbury. When the Salisbury Police arrived at the home they found Lacynda Diane Feimster, 38, dead from a gunshot wound and a second yet unidentified woman struck in her face with a handgun during the robbery. The survivor was transported by EMS to Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center where she was treated for minor facial injuries.
According to police sources someone knocked on the door and asked for money before they pushed their way inside at the start of the home invasion.
Mrs. Feimster was the mother of four children. (3 daughters and a son)

Salisbury Police vehicles filled the apartment complex lot bordered with crime scene tape as investigators spoke with neighbors.
At this time there are no arrests and no suspects.
