♦ Jacob Scott Parrish, 18, of 432 W. Bank Street in Granite Quarry, was arrested early Friday morning by the Granite Quarry Police for an alleged statutory rape of a victim known to him.
Parrish was charged with statutory rape/sex offense of a 13/14/15 yoa by defendant 6 years older. Under a secured $50,000 bond, Parrish is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center. His next court date is on June 15th.
