♦ For 60 days a joint undercover team from the Salisbury Police, Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, SBI, ATF, and Department of Homeland Security allegedly made undercover heroin purchases from Salisbury felon Antonio Devon Henderson, 34, of North Jackson Street.
On Tuesday night the team closed the show on Henderson and an alleged accomplice Christopher Jerome “C-Lo” Toomer, 28, of W. 26th Street in Winston-Salem. The pair allegedly drove up to their rendezvous with undercover officers at 275 Bendix Drive and were quickly arrested and taken into custody. Officers seized 13.1 grams of “crack” that Toomer allegedly packed in the front of his underwear. Henderson allegedly had a little over a gram of heroin in his possession.
Henderson was charged with 10 counts of selling/delivering a controlled substance schedule I (felony), possession of a controlled substance schedule I (felony), and probation violation (misdemeanor). Under a secured $160,000 bond, Henderson is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center. His first court date is on June 9th.
Toomer was charged with possession of controlled substance schedule II (felony), maintain dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance (misdemeanor), possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a controlled substance (felony), and conspiracy (felony).
