♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Walmart maintenance employee Wesley Daniel Page, 18, of Rockwell was arrested for allegedly setting fire to toilet paper in a stall in the men’s room at the Walmart on 323 S. Arlington Street in Salisbury. The incident was reported at 2:11 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police sources report that Page was allegedly angered at his supervisor and expressed it by allegedly going to the men’s room and setting fire to a toilet paper dispenser. Two rolls of toilet paper, the toilet paper dispenser, and the men’s room stall wall were damaged. The total damage was valued at $200.
Page was terminated. He was charged with vandalism to real property willful and wanton injury (misdemeanor) and issued a citation.
Salisbury’s number one retailer Walmart was victimized in June by a similar arson incident when an unknown arsonist set fire to a package of dog food in the pet food area.
