♦ According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources Sheriff’s deputies arrested a trio of Salisbury and Rowan County area men around 4 p.m. yesterday after an undercover heroin purchase went sour. Allegedly Andre Rodrico Clodfelter, 22, Winslow Cherry, 25, and Justin Drew Peterson, 35, took off in gray Toyota going 60 miles-per-hour through Lowe’s shopping center before the car bounced down an embankment for 75 feet in front of the Super 8 Motel on Bendix Drive and came to a rest before the trio allegedly took off running. Not for long. Their cards came up jokers as deputies ran them down and handcuffed them. Time to cool their heels at the Detention Center.
