♦ Salisbury Police report an accident this afternoon around 3:30 p.m. in the West End from unknown causes. The vehicle, a copper-colored Ford Taurus, flipped over after allegedly hitting a speed bump near the intersection of West Horah and Vanderford Streets at which point the driver Eric George Hyman, 28, of W. Horah Street attempted to flee officers on foot. Hyman was caught on W. Monroe Street near S. Caldwell Street. Hyman was injured, bleeding, apparently incoherent from shock of the crash. He was taken to the hospital. Officers said he may have dozed off at the wheel.
