♦ Salisbury Police sources report that around 11 a.m. today a trio of men held up the T-Mobile Store at 1215 E. Innes Street at gunpoint. An immediate 911 dispatch went out and the area was quickly swarming with Salisbury Police, Sheriff’s Office, and NC Highway patrol vehicles. Two of the men were quickly captured while a third retreated into the Hampton Inn where he was involved in a standoff with law enforcement. The Hampton Inn was evacuated. No reports of injury.
Helicopters circled the area in the early afternoon. No word yet on the third suspect’s capture.
