Salisbury: Shooting into an Occupied Property Sunday Morning on N. Church St. // 2 Women Threatened with a Handgun on W. D Avenue

♦ Gunfire was reported in several areas of Salisbury Saturday and Sunday morning.  Below is a report of a shooting into a occupied property and a woman being threatened with a semi-automatic pistol in a parking lot in a high-crime area on West Avenue D.  A city hopelessly under siege.

According to sources in the Salisbury Police a shooting into a property was reported Sunday at 2:42 a.m. in the 1200 block N. Church Street in Salisbury. Latoya Cathcart, 29, was in her home when someone fired a shotgun at her residence, damaging two exterior walls and shattering two windows. The damage estimate was $700. Mercifully no one was injured.

♦ Salisbury Police sources report an assault with a gun took place in the Colonial Village parking lot at 231 W. D Avenue Sunday at 3:06 a.m.  Atavia Shontay Mashore, 21, and Monique Georgette Mashore, 31, were out in the lot when an unidentified acquaintance of theirs drew a semi-automatic pistol on the pair and allegedly menaced the two women. The acquaintance left the area before the Salisbury Police arrived.
