Salisbury: Burglary Friday on Old Concord Road–Jewlery, TVs, and Computers Gone // Friday Knox Street Burglary Nets $3,029 in Valuables

♦ Here is only a sampling of the many breaking and entries occurring in Salisbury, N.C. according to police sources over the last 5 days.

According to the Salisbury Police a home on the 900 block of Old Concord Road suffered a burglary–forcible entry. Law enforcement received a call at 3:15 p.m. Friday from Latanya Bacon that someone forced open her front door and helped themselves to a number of her valuables. Among the stolen items were 4 rings (including a diamond ring and a wedding ring), a necklace, a jewelry box, 3 TVs, and 4 computers. The total value of all the stolen items was estimated at $4,705.

♦ Salisbury Police sources report a home in the 100 block of Knox Street was the victim of a burglary–unlawful entry. The crime was reported at 3 p.m. Friday by Teresa Hulce who arrived home to find someone forced her window open and sacked her place. Gone were 2 Sanyo TVs, a Sony Play Station 3, assorted Jewelry, 4 leather Jackets/coats, a lockbox, and a Samsung Note (audio visual equipment). The estimated value of the stolen items was $3,029.
