♦Congratulations to President Obama for his award last week. Perhaps you are thinking it was for his accomplishment in foreign affairs as many things are happening there, but then we remember what happened in Benghazi with the death of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans. And then there was his broken promise to intervene in Syria if they used chemical weapons. They did, but he did nothing. Other failures have ocurred as well. So no, he got no award in foreign affairs as he was not very good at foreign policy.
Perhaps you are thinking he got an award for domestic policy, but then we remember he sicced the IRS on conservative groups such as the Tea Party, allowed the NSA to spy on us as well as foreign leaders, and our economy is still struggling to find jobs for millions of us So he won no award there either as he is not very good at domestic policy.
Perhaps you are thinking he got an award for solving some great national challenge such as our huge and growing national debt, our high taxes, our very high wasteful spending (remember Solyndra) or our out-of-control healthcare costs. You are getting a bit warmer, but then we see in the polls that Obamacare approval is around 35% (CNN poll) and Queen Sebelius, uh Kathleen Sebelius told us that Obamacare will cost more for some of us according to the wall Street Journal. So no award there as President Obama is not very good at problem solving either. Their poll declared him the winner with his “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it” claim.
Congratulations President Obama. We finally found something that you are good at.
