♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Tammy Kirkley Boyd was shot in her feet just before 7 a.m. at the West Ridge Place Apartments in Salisbury. She was transported Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center for treatment. Her condition is not life threatening and she is expected to be released later today.
Someone shot into her apartment on the Claymont Drive side of the apartment complex. She was startled awake by bullets hitting her bedroom window. She saw and felt that she was wounded.
Police, Sheriff Office, and EMC vehicles quickly filled the apartment complex lot as investigators questions neighbors.
Police sources tell us the injuries are not life threatening.
The West Ridge Place Apartments are located off of Clancy Street behind the West End Plaza.
