♦ “Salisbury is like a magical trip to a serial killer’s basement. You never know what you might encounter.” The Editor
It’s reported that larceny theft was 1,179 in 2016 according to the Salisbury Police SNAG report which is up over the FBI UCR crime stats recording 1,120 incidents of larceny in 2015. Of course Salisbury more than doubled its murders in 2016 over 2015. In 2016, according to the Salisbury Police SNAG statistical report, recorded 11 murders while the FBI UCR report recorded 5 murders in 2015.
Speaking of larceny, Nicole Louise Coursey, 30, allegedly Salisbury’s queen of larceny and a frequent “flyer” in Salisbury’s leading retailer Walmart, was arrested twice on Saturday by two different area law enforcement agencies (Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the Salisbury Police). Will this get an double-asterisk in the annals of Salisbury crime?
