♦ Sources in the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report that Charles Wesley Wilson, 55, a registered sex offender, was subtracted from the Sheriff’s Office MOST WANTED List on Thursday morning when deputies arrested him without incident at 154 Mallard Lane in Rockwell allegedly for failing to report a change of address required of registered sex offenders. Wilson’s last known address was 1504 West A Street in Kannapolis. In 1999 he was convicted of indecent liberties with a minor.

Wilson was charged Thursday with sex offender failing to notify a change of address (felony). Under a secured $35,000 bond, he is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
