♦ Salisbury Police sources report that James Lee “June Bug” Price, Jr., 60, convicted felon and shoplifter, was arrested Friday around 10 p.m. during a drug raid on 517 E. Fisher Street. Knowing that drug activity was allegedly taking place at the modest E. Fisher Street home where Mr. Price was said to be bedding down and allegedly maintaining and possessing cocaine, Salisbury Police officers showed up at the door with search warrants. Rowan County Sheriff’s Office vehicles were parked along E. Fisher Street in support.

Lee was charged with possession with intent manufacture/sell/distribute controlled substance schedule II (felony), possession of controlled substance schedule II (felony), maintain dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance (felony), possess control substance schedule VI (misdemeanor), and possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor).
Under a secured $15,000 bond, Price is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center. His next court date is January 30th, 2017.
