♦ The Walmart Supercenter at 323 S. Arlington Street far and away Salisbury’s leading retailer, and likely the largest target of the area’s of human wave of shoplifters.  The larcenous souls who try their luck there are facing a large array of security cameras, an eagle-eyed staff, and a crack loss prevention crew adept at catching their quarry and filling up cells at the Rowan County Detention Center.  We won’t mention Salisbury Police vehicles lurking in Walmart’s parking lot at key points in the day waiting for the foolhardy and the immoral to be pounced on by loss prevention.
