♦ Salisbury Police sources report the armed robbery of a Papa John’s Pizza delivery driver on Sunday night on the 200 block of E. Council Street in Downtown Salisbury. The robbery was reported at 10:37 p.m. The driver Michael Okahara, 30, from Spencer, pulled up his Kia Sedona van on the 200 block of E. Council Street by an office building when someone abruptly loomed out of the dark with a semi-automatic pistol drawn. “Turn loose some wings and pizza”. The driver complied, handing over 2 pizzas and a container with 16 chicken wings. The robber snatched the food and faded into the darkness of a nearby parking lot. The total value of the wings and 2 pizzas was $34.00.
The wings and pizza were from the Papa John’s 1030 Freedland Drive in Salisbury.
