♦ Salisbury Police sources reported Wednesday night that Victor Reyes, of Whitman Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, 22, and Yessenia Breton, 18, of Yorkhill Drive in Charlotte, N.C. were victims of assault–gun on 719 South Caldwell Street when a young bicyclist turned and unprovoked, fired several shots at their passing Ford Five Hundred sedan. Startled, the couple drove to West Innes Street and flagged down an officer.
No one was injured and the car was not damaged.
Mr. Reyes believed he’d seen the young man previously in the area. The shooter, riding a green and white bicycle, was described at young Black male sporting short dredlocks with highlighted tips.
