♦ The cold streak and light snow kept the drive by shootings, street robberies, and street beatings to a minimum this past weekend, but burglaries continued throughout Salisbury at a rapid clip. Here are two of many.
Salisbury Police sources report that Brian Miller, 46, and Crystal Miller, 47, dwelling on the 500 block of W. McCubbins Street, were victims of a burglary–forcible entry between Saturday and Sunday morning, The burglar(s) ransacked their home and stole $648 in cash and a 70-inch Toshiba TV valued at $500. The method of entry was to force a window open.
At this time there are no suspects.

♦ According to sources in the Salisbury Police Department the Outreach Christian Tabernacle at 722 W. Horah Street was a victim of a burglary–forcible entry sometime early Sunday morning. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 7:30 a.m. The Burglar(s) pried open the front door to gain entry. The damaged front door and lock were valued at $845. The burglar(s) managed to grab $25 dollars in coins from the premises before they left through the front door.
The crime remains under investigation.
