♦ Salisbury Police sources reported that Jerry Short, 79, living at 412 S. Jackson Street in the heart of Salisbury’s Historic District, was the victim of all other shooting into occupied property on Thursday March 30th. 911 dispatch was contacted about the shooting 11:28 a.m. Mercifully no one was injured. An exterior and interior wall were damaged. Estimated damage was $200. The firearm used has yet to be determined although shell casings were found in the area. Mr. Short had no idea who the shooter(s) was or why he would be targeted.
