♦ According to Salisbury Police Julmul Jones Bellamy, 49, of 421 S. Craige Street in Salisbury, was the victim of a robbery-firearm Wednesday when he was robbed at gunpoint behind a building at 124 N. Shaver Street by a man with a semi-automatic pistol. With a gun in his face, Bellamy was relieved of $250 in cash and $5 in food stamps. The armed robbery was reported to 911 dispatch at 11:05 a.m.
The case remains open. No suspect was named.

Mr. Bellamy, who appears to be leading an active early morning life, was the victim of an assault–gun at 421 S. Craige Street where he was said to have sustained minor injuries from being struck with a gun by an acquaintance. The crime occurred Friday and was reported to 911 dispatch at 2:16 a.m.
On Tuesday April 18th Bellamy was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery or affray (m) at 421 S. Craig Street. Specific details of the altercation are not yet available.
