Jonathan Morris, US Army Ranger Ret.
♦I’d like to take this opportunity to respond to Rep. Richard Hudson’s response, or lack there of in my opinion, to Rick Johnson’s Letter-to-the-Editor. As a so called man of principle, Rep. Hudson you say you are for the veteran and against the “politics as usual” in Washington. What you did in voting for the “Ryan/Murray Budget Act”, was in effect the same as voting before you read it. And if you are a man of principle you will admit such and then work on your other proposal to rectify your errant vote. When running for congress you said you were going to shake Washington up. When in fact you got there and became just another politician selling out to special interests. There is no reason whatsoever to vote to cut combat disabled veteran benefits period!
