Salisbury: Burglar Hits Dura-Bar Tuesday on Cedar Springs Road. Damage Estimated at $1,500 // Klumac Rd. Burglar Grabs $1,200 in Technology Sunday

♦ No community in Salisbury is immune from forcible and unlawful entries.  Almost daily homes, businesses, and even eateries are being broken into and ransacked by fast moving burglars.  Even metal men, with high-powered cutting tools, are joining in the plunder of Salisbury.

Salisbury Police sources reported that Dura-Bar Inc., a metal services company, on 770 Cedar Springs Road in Salisbury was the victim of a burglary-forcible entry to one of their commercial buildings on Tuesday May 30th.  The break-in was reported to 911 dispatch at 9:41 a.m.  A metal man, employing a saw/cutting tool, damaged an exterior walls.  Damages were assessed at $1,500.

The case remains open.  No arrests have been made yet.

♦ According to sources in the Salisbury Police Department Glenn Bowman, 26, was a victim of a burglary-forcible entry Sunday morning June 4th at his home on 401 Klumac Road.  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 1:19 a.m. The home was forcibly entered by breaking a window screen.

Stolen were a 49 inch color LG TV (valued at $900) and a Sony Playstation 4 game console (valued at $300). The total value all items stolen was $1,200. The damaged window screen was assessed at $30.

The burglary remains under investigation. At this time no suspects have been named.
