♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Donald Tiberio Armstrong, 36, of 331 Pearl Street in Salisbury and Damon Jermain Blackwell, Jr., 18, 0f 1601 Mooresville Road in Salisbury were victims of “assault-gun” at 331 Pearl Street Monday at 1:25 a.m. Both men sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem for treatment, Both men are said to be in stable condition.
Salisbury Police arrived on Pearl Street and quickly set up a crime scene. Shell casings from handguns were found at the scene.
No motives for the shootings were released at time in a case that remains under intensive investigation.
Unconfirmed reports from an area resident alleged a home invasion was involved.
