♦ According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources Houston Ray Mccarn, 20, living at a Howard Johnson motel in Concord, was arrested Saturday and his ex-girlfriend Amber Lane Scarborough, 18, staying on Lower Stone Church Road in Rockwell, was arrested Friday both for the alleged blunt force murder of their 8-week old infant son Kingston Daniel Aistrop at their home on 120 Van Street in Rockwell N.C. back on June 30th 2016.

Both Mccarn and Scarborough were charged with murder (first degree) (felony) and child abuse-any serious physical injury (felony). Under no bond, both are being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
Back on June 30th 2016 Scarborough, the mother of Kingston Daniel Aistrop called 911 dispatch and allegedly told them her child stopped breathing. Rowan County Sheriff’s Office detectives were joined by N.C. S.B.I. investigators at the crime scene on Van Street. The investigators soon determined the infant expired from a blunt force trauma to the head. The crime scene was gone over in detail and both parents were questioned about the child’s death. The infant’s body was transported to the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The Sheriff’s Office Detectives worked closely with the Rowan County District Attorney’s Office, gathering more information about the infant’s death.
On July of this year the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s report was released and the Sheriff Office gave Mccarn and Aistrop their final interview prior to their arrests on Friday and Saturday.
