Salisbury Police sources report that the popular N. Main eatery Richard’s BBQ, owned by Richard Monroe, 64, at 522 N. Main Street, was the victim of a burglary-forcible entry early Sunday morning. The burglar(s) broke the glass in the side door/exit to make their entry. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 4:45 a.m. Aside from $1,000 worth of damage done to the door, no items were listed yet as stolen.
The case remains under investigation. No suspects have been named at this time.
