♦  The strong arm robbery still outpaces brass knuckles, broken wine bottles, knives, a “rock in a sock”, and clubs as a robbery weapon in Salisbury.  On Tuesday morning Salisbury’s Bermuda Triangle of Crime: Cannon Park at 611 Park popped up on our screen.

According to Salisbury Police sources Phillip King, 65, dwelling on MLK, Jr. Avenue, was the victim of a “robbery-strong arm no weapon” when he rode his bicycle into Cannon Park at 611 Park Avenue and got cold blooded jumped and overwhelmed by a stranger(s).  King gave up his cellphone (valued at $600).  Mercifully King suffered no injuries and his bicycle wasn’t clipped by his assailant(s).  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 9:21 a.m.

The crime remains under further investigation.
