♦ The strong arm robbery still outpaces brass knuckles, broken wine bottles, knives, a “rock in a sock”, and clubs as a robbery weapon in Salisbury. On Tuesday morning Salisbury’s Bermuda Triangle of Crime: Cannon Park at 611 Park popped up on our screen.
According to Salisbury Police sources Phillip King, 65, dwelling on MLK, Jr. Avenue, was the victim of a “robbery-strong arm no weapon” when he rode his bicycle into Cannon Park at 611 Park Avenue and got cold blooded jumped and overwhelmed by a stranger(s). King gave up his cellphone (valued at $600). Mercifully King suffered no injuries and his bicycle wasn’t clipped by his assailant(s). The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 9:21 a.m.
The crime remains under further investigation.

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Carlos Alvardo, 18, an employee at Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant at Wallace Commons and living on Greenfield Road in Rockwell, was the victim of “robbery-strong arm no weapon” Wednesday while he walked by Klumac Road near Julian Road after getting off work. Big-mistaka-daka! Alvarado sustained minor injuries when a stranger(s) jumped him and tore his clothes (clothing valued at $20). Alvarado gave up nothing to his assailant(s). The crime was reported 911 dispatch at 12:18 a.m.
The crime remains under further investigation. At this time no one has been arrested.
