I accept your olive branch because we do, indeed, need to get along. I’m still willing to buy you that coffee I offered so long ago. In return I offer this olive branch to you: You are entitled to your opinion, and I promise faithfully to defend to my last breath your right to express your opinion. However, there us a huge need to distinguish between opinion and fact. Right here, from the “horse’s mouth” is the absolute truth, on my Mother’s place of Eternal Rest (in Rowan County Memorial Park).
MY GOAL: to bring together the citizens and their elected leaders in open and honest discourse. I’ve never taken “orders” from Rowan Concerned Citizens, those Blueprint or Acorn (neither of whom I’d never heard of until Will McCubbins brought them up a few weeks ago). The only one with whom I discussed anything before beginning my advocacy for the cItizens of this county was my Pastor who supported me 100%; and oh, the irony…Pastor is a registered Republican.
Gentle Readers, I sincerely believe all of you are wise enough to know that opinion need not be factual. And I’ve no problem with you believing whatever you wish, so long as you don’t pass it along as fact.
