♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Fun Zone Arcade, a video game arcade, at 1945 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard was the victim of “robbery-knife” on Wednesday morning. A bearded Black man wearing a gray hoodie, gray pants, black boots, and a black bandanna obscuring his face, forced his way through the door. He told two employees at knifepoint to open the register. The robber helped himself to $3,252 in cash before leaving the strip mall on foot in the direction of Clancy Hills Apartments. No one was reported injured during the robbery. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 6:23 a.m. and brought a speedy police response.
The case is under further investigation.
