♦ According to Salisbury Police Department sources Joseph William Whitmire AKA Joey Portis is being sought for the alleged Murder and Common Law Robbery of Shawn Alexander Spry shot to death on Monday, July, 31st at 210 S. Link Street, Salisbury, N.C.

Whitmire’s last known address was 215 Kress Venture Road in China Grove, N.C.  He may be in the Salisbury and Kannapolis areas and must be considered armed and dangerous.  Do not attempt to apprehend.
