♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Billy Floyd Pless, Jr., 64, Spencer and Salisbury’s One-Man Human Crime Wave, was arrested Monday morning for sexual battery and 2nd degree kidnapping at 1406 W. Inness Street in Salisbury. The alleged crimes were forcefully “kissing” and groping with a sexual motive a 27 year-old woman and containing her movements against her will were said to have occurred near the intersection of S. Fulton and S. Main Street. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The alleged incident began when Pless was loading a canvas bag into his Chrysler van and spotted the young woman walking down the street. When Pless asked her to help him lift the bag into the van, she told him no. Pless allegedly grabbed the woman, squeezed her face, and kissed her. According to reports he also sexually groped her. The woman kicked him and he fled.
Mr. Pless recently served time in prison after his felony conviction for habitual misdemeanor assault.
