♦ The home, business, and vehicle break-ins continue at a high rate throughout Salisbury. According to Salisbury Police sources Joseph Hendrickson, 33, and Monica Deese, 38, living at 1713 Stokes Ferry Road in Salisbury, were victimized by a “burglary-forcible entry” Monday evening August 21st. The burglar(s) used blunt force (rock, hammer, bat etc.) to break a window on the rear door and cart off $845 in valuables. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 9:51 p.m. and brought officers to the address.

♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Candid Rankin, 37, living at 908 N. Green Street, was the victim of a “burglary–forcible entry” at her home on Friday August 18th. A burglar(s) forced a window open to gain entry and utilized a side door to exit the house. The value of the stolen property was estimated at $880. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 11:21 p.m. and brought officers to the N. Green Street address.
