♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Michael Lynn Beck, 31, of 107 10th Street in Spencer, N.C., sought for the alleged August 15th hit and Run head-on collision at the 1600 block of North Long and Kenly Streets in Salisbury that injured several persons and a toddler, was arrested Monday at 117 Helig Avenue in Salisbury at 7:28 p.m. Beck was slapped with a laundry list of charges and is under a secured $7,000 bond in the Rowan County Detention Center.

Beck, owner of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and a passenger in the vehicle, allegedly was involved in the head-on collision with a 2000 Ford Expedition that seriously injured a toddler. Police allege Beck was not cooperative and told officers he only knew the first name of the Silverado driver which was likely “Mark”.
