♦ According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office sources Kendall Robert Miller, 17, living on the 100 block of Pauline Court in China Grove and a student at J.C. Carson High School, was arrested Tuesday at 913 N. Jackson Street in Salisbury at 4:26 p.m. and charged with 3 separate counts of statutory rape/sex offense (felony). Under a secure $300,000 bond, Miller is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
Kendall Robert Miller:
The three alleged sexual crimes occurred over the course of several weeks. On August the 4th the 13-year-old victim was dropped off at a store by Miller. At the store she had a chance encounter with a deputy. The youngster confided in the deputy about her experiences with Miller and how the sexual incidents occurred at a friend’s house. Both the victim and Miller knew each other.
