♦ It appears that almost no weekend passes by without shootings and other forms of criminal violence occurring in crime wracked Salisbury, N.C., the 9th ranked most dangerous city in North Carolina.  While many heard gunshots throughout the city on Friday and Saturday, a home in the North Main Historic District reportedly got a dose of lead.

According to Salisbury Police sources Wayne Harman, 58, was the victim of a “all other shooting into an occupied property” and “miscellaneous property damage” at 801 N. Main Street.  The shooting was done by an unknown assailant with an undetermined firearm.  Mercifully no injuries were reported.  Damage to a roof was reported (estimated value $75).  The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 9:36 a.m.

At this time no motive for the shooting was reported and no suspects were named.
