♦ According to Salisbury Police Sources a lone Black Male, wearing Sunglasses, standing 5’5″, having a medium build, wearing white shoes and white jeans, and sporting a dark baseball cap strode into the F & M Bank on 630 Jake Alexander Boulevard W. at 10:29 a.m. this morning and handed a teller a note demanding money. He snatched back the note. The teller handed over a yet undisclosed amount of cash before the robber ran out the bank’s rear door. (Later it was learned the robber only got a dollar–See the manifest below) He got into a white 4-door Ford Crown Victoria sedan parked on a nearby side road and sped off. The Salisbury Police arrived a short time later.

Apparently no gun was shown. The staff believed robber was armed. The Police are calling the crime a “robbery-firearm” No injuries were reported.
