♦ Salisbury Police sources report that Boost Mobile at 1953 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard was the victim of “burglary-forcible entry” on Friday. The burglar employed a primitive, yet highly effective and much used method called “rocking” to gain entry into the Boost Mobile store. The front window was smashed with a (rock, brick, cinderblock etc.). The burglar helped himself to 10 “pay-as-you-go” mobile phones valued at $200. The damaged front window was estimated at $200. The point of entry was said to be the front window. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 6:19 a.m.
The crime remains under investigation. No one has been arrested to date.
