♦ This email arrived in my email box yesterday and it made my day. It came from Corey J. Hill, President UAW Local 3520.  Now I’ve got that and endorsement of the Rowan Free Press with its mammoth and growing readership all over Salisbury and Rowan County, across North Carolina, even in countries where English is a second language.

Here’s Corey J. Hill’s and the AFL- CIO Labor Council Endorsement Committee endorsement:

We hope this mail finds you well in you campaign efforts in bid for City Council for City of Salisbury. The AFL-CIO membership comes from our Union affiliates that has a strong hold right here in Salisbury. Voting is the life line in the hearts of our Union members, it is where we have our voice to change our work life and our community. This week we sent out endorsements cards on your behalf to over 1100 Union household in the City limits of Salisbury supporting of your campaign .”
