♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Warren Antonio Still, 35, of Salisbury, was arrested Thursday at 3:40 p.m. in the Spee-Dee Mart parking lot at 402 Park Avenue for the alleged armed robbery of Jerry Goodman, 72, of 8th Street in Spencer, in the Speedway parking lot (formerly Wilco-Hess) at 500 E. Innes Street at 2:30 p.m. Goodman allegedly gave up $343 in cash to Still armed with a handgun. No injuries were reported although Still struggled with officer when they took him into custody.
A description provided by Goodman led to Still’s arrest when he was spotted in the Spee-Dee parking lot by Salisbury police. When Still was taken into custody, he allegedly possessed a .22 caliber Glock handgun and $343.
Under a secured $25,00 bond, Still is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
