Salisbury Police sources reported that Daniel Michael Wiser, of Salisbury was arrested at Harris Teeter Supermarket, 850 W. Jake Alexander Boulevard, on Monday morning at 3:45 a.m. for allegedly embezzling $847.15 worth of cigarettes from his employer.

Wiser was charged with larceny by servants and other employees (felony). After being detained at the Rowan County Detention Center, he bonded out.
