♦ According to Salisbury sources, the Salisbury Post was allegedly purchased this week. Mr. James B. Boone from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Boone Newspapers is alleged to have purchased the Salisbury Post.

The Post will likely make an announcement this coming week.
