Imagine what it’s like to come home and experience your front door battered off its hinges and your house ransacked. They’ve even gone through your refrigerator and taken you last six pack of “Ice” and dumped the contents of your medicine cabinet in the sink. All your personal belongings are scattered throughout your bedroom. They didn’t even give you the courtesy of flushing your toilet. Pigs. These scenes are all too common in Salisbury anymore…Think positive. Don’t let negativity settle in.
According to Salisbury Police sources Yetta Nicole Taylor, 47, living at 217 W. 13th Street was the victim of a “burglary-forcible entry” where burglars used bodily force to break through the front door and help themselves to $14,270 worth of booty including jewelry, watches, electronics, and a .38 caliber revolver. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 1:19 p.m.
